What is it?

Pitch Your Play invites you to pitch a new play to Masterclass. The successful candidate will be given space for 4 weeks at Masterclass HQ and access to the Theatre Royal Haymarket stage for a week (Mon-Fri) in order to rehearse and stage the reading, culminating in a Friday afternoon showcase performance.

The script must be a new, unpublished piece of writing. This is an exclusive opportunity to showcase your work in a West End venue to an invited audience.

Who are we looking for?

Writers and Producers aged 17-30 can apply. Please note if you are a Producer pitching a new play, the author of the play will need to fall into the 17-30 age range. All necessary performers will be filled through the Masterclass Members aged 17-30.

What you need to send us?

1. A short synopsis of the play
2. A hard copy of the entire play*
3. A cover letter explaining:

• Why we should pick your play and why you want it staged
• What you hope this opportunity will offer you
• What your long term plans are for the play
• In an ideal world where you see the play being produced

*Please note we will only accept hard copies of your script, electronic copies will not be accepted.
