Troubadour International Poetry Prize 2017

Prizes: 1st £2,000; 2nd £1,000; 3rd £500 Poems may be submitted from any country & must be in English. Judged by Imtiaz Dharker & Michael Symmons Roberts

Prizes also include: 1 two-year subscription to the manhattan review 5 one-year subscriptions to poetry (from poetry foundation) 3 one-year subscriptions to poetry ireland review 2 one-year subscriptions to the rialto £100 troubadour restaurant gift voucher bottle of troubadour champagne plus, for all prize-winning poets, spring 2018 coffee-house poetry season-tickets & invitation to read at coffee-house poetry on prize night, Mon 27 nov 2017 with Imtiaz Dharker & Michael Symmons Roberts.

Rules:
Poems may be submitted from any country & must be in English, must each be no longer than 45 lines, must fit on one A4 or US-Letter-size page, must show title & poem only, must not show poet’s name, must be the original work of the entrant (no translations) & must not have been previously broadcast or published in print or online; no text alterations accepted after submission; no limit on number of poems or separate submissions from any entrant; failure to comply with all rules results in disqualification.

Entry Fee: £6/€7/$7.50 for 1st poem & £4/€5/$5 for each subsequent poem in same submission (Sterling/Euro/US-Dollars only).
