Entries are open for the Scottish Arts Club's inaugural Edinburgh International Flash Fiction Award for compelling stories on any topic up to 250 words.
In addition to the £500 cash prize, the winner will receive:
(a) An invitation to participate and perform (or have your story performed) during the annual Scottish Arts Club Short Story Awards Dinner to be held on Saturday 29 September 2018 at the Scottish Arts Club in Edinburgh.
(b) Publication in our first anthology and invitation to the official launch with all short story finalists since 2014
(c) A dedicated page to promote your writing through our new website.
(d) A trophy commemorating the Edinburgh International Flash Fiction Award Winner 2018
The entry fee is £5 per story with all proceeds channelled through the Charitable Trust to support the arts in Scotland.
Writers may enter as many times as they wish. Judging is conducted anonymously by an experienced team of readers.
