SI Leeds Literary Prize
Deadline: Mon 30 Apr 2018
The SI Leeds Literary Prize, for unpublished female, Black and Asian writers in the UK, is now accepting entries for the 2018 award.

The prize aims to act as a loudspeaker for Black and Asian women’s voices, and a platform to discover exciting new talent, from a group largely under-represented on our bookshelves.

They welcome submissions of unpublished novels and short story collections.

Winner receives £3000, with two cash prizes for the runners up, as well as a range of support through the Prize Plus Programme. Prize Plus includes manuscript assessment by The Literary Consultancy, New Writing North networking events and showcase opportunities at literary events.

The prize has been created and run by Soroptimist International of Leeds, in partnership with two well established and highly regarded literary organisations, the Ilkley Literature Festival and independent publishers Peepal Tree Press.

Full submission details available here

Deadline Monday 30 April.
