Arvon: Hidden Stories
Fri 11 Nov 2016 to Sun 13 Nov 2016
Are you a refugee or asylum seeker based in Manchester? Do you like writing stories and poems, or have a desire to express yourself with words?

We have just the opportunity for you to develop your creative writing with the support of professional writers.

Arvon is joining up with Hidden Stories and The Portico Library in Manchester, to help you find time and space to write. Hidden Stories is all about helping your hidden stories and talents come to surface.

Come join us for an immersive writing experience over a weekend, a powerful mix of workshops, one-to-one feedback, the support of fellow writers and plenty of time and space to write. Hidden Stories founder and writer Anjum Malik and writer Louise Wallwein will help kick-start your imagination, give you the tools to explore your own stories and show you how to capture them. This will also be a very special opportunity to explore The Portico Library’s wondrous historic collection of 19th century books.
