Arvon: Writing Theatre for Children and Young Audiences
Mon 5 Jun 2017 to Sat 10 Jun 2017
We will help you explore a range of styles, approaches and inspirations used to craft work for young audiences, families and teenagers

A practical opportunity to think outside the box when creating theatre for young audiences in the 0–18 age range. We will help you explore a range of styles, approaches and inspirations used to craft work for young audiences, families and teenagers.

Work in this genre demands rigour and a clear understanding of the complexity and maturity of target audiences, so we will explore research approaches as well as work on practical exercises. All levels of experience and writing backgrounds welcome. This course is in partnership with Half Moon Theatre.
