Birmingham Literature Festival 2017: Dawn Kayak / Write
Sat 7 Oct 2017 to Sat 7 Oct 2017
Find new inspiration for your writing at the Dawn Kayak on Birmingham’s canals

Get a completely new perspective on the city with our Dawn and Dusk Canoeing trips, starting from the hidden gem of The Roundhouse, and taking in some of the most spectacular buildings in Birmingham, as seen from the waterways. Choose to see either the sun rise or set on the city, and draw inspiration for your writing from what you see. Beginners welcome: you’ll be taken out with an experienced canoeist and guide. After an hour on the canals, you’ll return to The Roundhouse for a hot drink and a writing workshop.

Suitable for adults and children aged 8 and over. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Date: Saturday 7 October 2017, 7am
Venue: Roundhouse, Birmingham
Cost: £20

Birmingham Literature Festival is programmed and produced by Writing West Midlands, and is for writers just as much as for readers.
