London’s largest college for adults in Covent Garden is hosting a celebration of published writers, poets and academics from City Lit and beyond
Friday 11 September
Wine Reception with Irish Literary Society, followed by London Irish Connections in the 1890s with Professor Adrian Frazier and Dr Stoddard Martin.
Saturday 12 September
Readings by a host of exciting Irish authors, to include: Paul McVeigh, Emer Martin, Tasha Kavanagh, Alan McMonagle, Aideen Henry, Martina Evans, Paul McMahon, Gerry Hanberry, Martin Dyar and Órfhlaith Foyle.
The festival also includes…
• Noir by Noir West – 40 Years of Arlen House.
• A night of song and spoken word in Covent Garden.
• Talks on the fiction of Emma Donoghue and James Joyce, and the poems of W.B. Yeats.
• Writing Workshops with Paul McMahon, Emer Martin and Martin Dyar.
• Moore’s London – A literary walk with Adrian Frazier and friends.
