10am - 1pm – Self-editing: A Mini Masterclass
In this three-hour workshop, gain insights into the self-editing process to help take your writing to the next level. The Literary Consultancy‘s Aki Schilz will take you through top tips gleaned from the consultancy’s team of professional editors and her experiences as an editorial consultant and as a literary prize judge.
1pm - 2pm – Networking Lunch (lunch included if you book for the full day)
2pm 5pm – Digital Literature: Maximise Your Creativity Online
In this practical, fun and inspiring workshop, learn about the new ways writers are using the internet, and in particular social media platforms, to reach readers and flex their creative muscles.
Aki Schilz is the Director of The Literary Consultancy, the UK’s longest-running editorial consultancy for writers, providing editing services, mentoring and literary events since 1996. . She is also a prize-winning writer and editor, and co-founder of the Saboteur Award-shortlisted #LossLit digital literature project.
