Keep your creativity burning during the dark winter nights with writing workshops led by published author and tutor Benjamin Scott.
As the year comes to an end, it's time to see what lurks in the corners of your imagination through writing exercises and prompts designed to inspire and motivate.
Each session will be about sparking off new ideas and seeing where they might lead. No previous creative writing experience necessary. Writers of all abilities and interests welcome.
There will be a break for tea, coffee and socialising. All you need to bring is a pen and notebook.
Tutor: Benjamin Scott is the author of eleven books and teaches creative writing in a range of schools and organisations, including Oxford University Continuing Education, the Writers’ Summer School and the Uppingham Summer School. He coaches and gives editorial feedback to writers from around the world.
“Autumn can awaken the imagination,” he says. “For me, I love it as the days shorten and the night air is filled with smoke and possibility. I’m looking forward to hearing what new stories and characters will come from the Dark Night Writes workshops.”
