Editing Workshop with Emma Bamford
Sat 6 Sep 2014 to Sat 6 Sep 2014
Do you have a first draft of a manuscript that you want to polish up before sending out? Are you planning to publish your own ebook and want it to be the best it can?
Saturday 6th September 2014, 10am to 1pm at Ilkeston Library

Do you have a first draft of a manuscript that you want to polish up before sending out? Are you planning to publish your own ebook and want it to be the best it can? Or do you feel you’re not really a writer because you ‘aren’t very good with grammar and punctuation’?

Unlock the mysteries of editing with this workshop led by Emma Bamford, an author and a former news editor at the Independent.

The three-hour workshop with real examples will be held on 6th September 2014 and Emma will edit a 250-word extract of your writing in advance and talk it through with you during a one-to-one session afterwards.

The cost for the workshop is £10.00. Tea and coffee will be provided.

To book a place please email Ali Betteridge, Literature Development Officer or ring her on 01773 831359
