Free writing - exploring connections with thoughts and feelings
Tue 31 Oct 2017 to Tue 5 Dec 2017
A six week course with Marian Lennon using writing as a way to explore feelings and connect to our quieter parts.
Writing, as a tool for personal development, is a powerful way to explore feelings and connect to our quieter parts. We use a range of exercises and prompts to help you witness yourself, your memories and your relationships. Come and be surprised by what you have to say for yourself. No writing experience required.

This six week course is for those who enjoy writing by hand at any level. The emphasis is on the writing process rather than the product and will suit such people as creative writers looking to escape 'the editor' or counselling students wanting to develop their self-awareness and journal writing. If you are curious to explore self dialogue, this course, as a cross between therapeutic and creative writing, will offer you plenty of permission to write freely.

Marian Lennon teaches writing for Personal Development & Wellbeing at City Lit in Covent Garden & the Mary Ward Centre in Queen Square. Her 'Inklings' courses are based around the concept of 'non-stop writing' with an emphasis on process & permission to help foster confidence and self awareness.
