We would like to invite you to:
a Lapidus workshop to inspire us to explore & develop our writing and our
creativity
Saturday 18th March 2017, 10am-3.30pm
Welcome, tea & coffee, 9.45am-10.15am. Workshops start at 10.15 prompt.
Lunch: please bring some food to share.
Lapidus Humber-Ouse-Tweed group business meeting 3.30-4.00pm
The Friends' Meeting House, Quaker Close, Scarborough, YO12 5QZ
The main theme for the workshop, facilitated by Sue Spencer, will be
Beginnings and what it is like standing at the threshold.
Drawing on Susan David’s book “Emotional Agility” this workshop will be
structured around phases of awareness, recognition, letting go and re-
framing. Attention will be focused on kindness and curiosity and we will
consider together how we can map our journey and break old habits that no
longer serve us well. We will also investigate how our experiences in this
workshop can be translated into other areas of life and how this approach
may inform writing practices and other creative activity.
