We will use their words and lives as a starting point for your own writing about place and memory

Hawkwood College Creative Arts Week

Course no 3005

The Cotswold landscape has inspired some of the best-loved writers in the English language (Laurie Lee, Edward Thomas, Ivor Gurney). We will use their words and lives as a starting point for your own writing about place and memory. Through poetry, memoir, or fiction, you will be guided to the well-spring of your creativity, creating new work that is embodied, authentic, and with a strong sense of place.

Kevan Manwaring is a writer, storyteller and co-ordinator of the Cotswold Word Centre at Hawkwood.
