London LitLab: Beginning to write
Thu 2 Jun 2016 to Thu 14 Jul 2016
Have you promised yourself that you’ll start writing this year? Or do you have a few short stories that need attention, or a novel that needs knocking into shape? It’s not too late

Our summer six-week course is designed for those who have just started writing fiction, or those who want to develop their skills. Over six evenings throughout June and July, in a cosy Shoreditch café (tea and cake optional), you’ll be set writing exercises, which will help you think about plot, character, point of view, place, description and dialogue. We’ll focus on both novels and short stories.

Our aim is to offer an affordable home-from-home experience, where you’ll feel comfortable putting pen to paper. You’ll leave the course with a toolbox of literary skills, a few new friends, and the confidence to keep on writing.
