Mindful Writing Workshop run by Mindful Arts
Sat 12 May 2018 to Sat 12 May 2018
Mindfulness and creativity are combined in this workshop presented by writer and wellbeing facilitator Tom George. Incorporating guided meditation, examining natural objects (rocks, shells etc.) and fun, collaborative exercises, we will learn to free our creativity and write from the heart - poetry, prose or whatever comes out.

All sharing of work is voluntary and non-judgemental. The venue is wheelchair accessible. There will be a break with refreshments available in the cafe downstairs. Please bring your own writing materials.

Tom George is a co-director of Mindful Arts, a Liverpool-based organisation bringing together mindfulness and creativity to enhance wellbeing and mental health. Tom has a background in music and writing, and has collaborated with organisations including Channel 4 TV, Unity Theatre, The Bluecoat and Liverpool Mental Health Consortium among many others.

Date: Saturday 12 May 2018, 12-4
Venue: Manchester Central Library, Manchester M2 5PD
Cost: £16.76 – £22.15
