Novel Writing for Novices
Tue 16 Feb 2016 to Tue 16 Feb 2016
Everyone has a good novel in them, so we are told. The skill lies in getting that novel out. So just how do you write a story of not less than 50,000 words that grabs readers with the first sentence and keeps them engaged to the last?

Join novelist and creative writing tutor Tracey Iceton as she introduces the craft of novel writing.

Drawing on her own creative practice and doctoral research in novel writing, Tracey steers writers new to the novel form through the maze of plot, characters, structure and narrative perspective.

Writing activities allow participants to develop ideas while supportive, constructive feedback enables them to get started on their first novel or improve a work-in-progress.

Here is the opportunity to get that novel written down, typed up and, perhaps one day, even into print!
