This weekend fiction course for beginners will focus primarily on the short story with group workshops and one-to-one tutorials
We’ll be exploring crucial elements of the short story and fiction in general: getting started, titles, first lines, characters, point-of-view, plot, conflict, back story, dialogue, themes, endings and eventually submitting your finished work.
At the end of the course participants should be able to continue confidently with their own work, or will have begun work on an exciting new project.
