If you enjoy reading novels and short stories and want to give writing a try yourself, or if you have perhaps tried writing fiction before and want to learn more in a supportive, professional environment, then this ten week course is for you.

 

Led by writer and expert University of East Anglia tutor Ian Nettleton, this face-to-face course will give you the essential elements that you need in order to build a story. You will learn from examples of great storytelling and will be given writing exercises to help you get into the habit of writing regularly. 

 

By the end of the ten weeks you will have the necessary tools to understand how prose fiction works, and most importantly, you will have been producing, editing and workshopping your own work, with the support of your tutor and classmates. Your efforts will be rewarded with a Certificate of Attendance from the University of East Anglia*  and Writers' Centre Norwich.
