The Inpress Festival of Publishing 2015
Thu 29 Jan 2015 to Thu 29 Jan 2015
The Inpress Festival of Publishing 2015 celebrate the inventiveness, creativity, diversity and agility of our fellow independent publishers, and all those working in our industry
Designed as a networking event and a forum for sharing ideas, the Festival of Publishing 2015 is an afternoon of presentations, Q&A’s and panel events featuring creative, digital, retail and publishing experts ready to share their experiences and discoveries.

Themed around the idea of ‘Art Versus Avarice’ the programme of events is designed to explore ideas surrounding the difficulties of remaining true to an artistic vision in a highly competitive commercial marketplace dominated by the goliaths of publishing. Joining us to discuss this is Adam Freudenheim of Pushkin Press.

With representatives from Ingram, NetGalley, Waterstones, Neilsen and many more sharing invaluable insight and advice, this event is a must for anyone with an interest in independent publishing. There will be opportunities for questions from the floor to all of our presenters, and we encourage our attendees to make their voices heard.

There will also be practical breakout sessions lead by experts on jacket design and digital publishing, and a business advice clinic offering financial, corporate governance and legal support.
