The Writing Process: Dialogue
Thu 2 Jun 2016 to Thu 2 Jun 2016
Join us for the final masterclass in our series of events with Book Aid International, on successfully writing dialogue with Claire McGowan

For the final instalment in this writing series, we've decided to focus on writing dialogue. We've found – after reviewing feedback sent to us from you – that this is an area a lot of writers struggle with; and so, we've designed a masterclass that can help you conquer this most dreaded part of the novel-writing process.

The conversations we have in our daily lives, if we put them into a novel, would probably be quite boring for our readers. Claire will show you how you can approach writing dialogue so that it’s interesting, engaging and revealing to your readers, whilst making sure it remains authentic; to your characters, your setting, and the overall tone of your novel.
