Rory MacLean is a travel writer. His ten books, including UK best-sellers Stalin's Nose (Harper Collins, 1992) and Under the Dragon (Harper Collins, 1998), have challenged and invigorated creative non-fiction writing for years. He’s won many awards and was nominated for the International IMPAC Dublin Literary prize. His latest book Berlin: Imagine a City will be published in February www.rorymaclean.com
Llion Iwan has worked at the BBC as a journalist, and was a lecturer on journalism and creative writing at Bangor University, gaining a PhD on the influence of the documentary director. His travel book O Afallon i Shangri La (Gomer, 2001) and his Pakistan located novel on the 911 wars, Yr Anweledig (Gomer, 2008) were highly commended in the Prose Medal competition at the National Eisteddfod. He currently works as commissioner for factual programmes at S4C.
