She won the Lancashire Book of the Year Award and the Redbridge Teenage Book Award, and her latest novel, The Lost and Found, was nominated for the Carnegie Medal.

Anne Fine is twice winner of the prestigious Carnegie Medal, and both of her most recent novels for young adults, The Road of Bones and Blood Family, have also been shortlisted for this prize. Anne is a fellow of the Royal Society of Literature and her work has been translated into over forty languages. She was the National Children’s Laureate.
