2017 Lune Spark Young Writers' Short Story Writing Contest

Think you know a child who is 10 to 16 years of age (residing in the US, Canada, and the UK) who could write a wonderful story in 1,500 words or less?

Prizes

$3,000 worth of prizes including: $1,500 in cash ($750 in each category) and In-person creative writing classes valued at $1,500, held in NC, Cary. 

Categories

1) Online Only: Short stories can be submitted online. There is no expectation to be at venue physically.

2) On-The-Spot: Free event, but requires you to participate in the "Online Only" category as well. A range of themes are going to be announced at the venue (Cary, NC). Participants in this free category must participate in Online Contest as well.

Publishing

Top 15 stories will be published on Amazon.com and Kindle through Lune Spark Books' independent publishing.
