2018 Manchester Writing Competition: Open to entries

Designed to encourage and celebrate new writing across the globe, The Manchester Writing Competition offers the UK’s biggest literary awards for unpublished work and is open internationally to new and established writers.
Prize: £10,000 for the best portfolio of three-to-five poems (maximum combined length: 120 lines) and best short story of up to 2,500 words.
Entry fee: £17.50
