5th Annual Comic Book Awards
Deadline: Tue 5 May 2015
The award is open to comic book artists, writers and publishers who have created or published a sequential work within the medium of comic book/graphic novels
Award Categories:
The S.I.C.B.A Comic Book Awards for 2015 are:
Best Graphic Novel :: 4 shortlisted nominations
Best Comic Book :: 4 shortlisted nominations
Best Artist :: 4 shortlisted nominations
Best Writer :: 4 shortlisted nominations
Best Cover :: 4 shortlisted nominations
Best Newcomer :: 4 shortlisted nominations
Guidelines:
1. The work/s must have been created in Scotland or have been created by a resident of Scotland.
2. The submission must in a digital PDF format.
3. The content of the work is open to all types of story telling and visual styles.
4. Your entry must reach us before the submission deadline. Tuesday 5th May 2015
5. Each submitter can enter only 1 submission to each category.
6. Individual stories within a Anthology cannot be entered into any of the categories.
7. New editions, i.e reprints into a new collected edition or trade paperback version of previously submitted separate single issues, can be submitted. You cannot resubmit the same work as a previous year in the same format.
8. Physical copies are only required if you are shortlisted.
9. Entry is Free.
The Submission Panel:
The submission panel will consist of impartial and non partizan individuals who will look at all entries submitted into the process. The selection process is based on a transparent point system. Panel members score each of the works in it's selected category. The shortlist is created from the combined average score of all panel members points collated.
