Grade 7 - £26,276 - £28,636 pro rata (rising to £29,236 pro rata after a minimum of 5 years’ service) plus London Inner Fringe Allowance of £798 and essential car user allowance

Epping Forest District Council’s arts team delivers a wide-ranging programme of arts projects throughout the community. We are currently looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Arts Officer to join us.

Working closely with the arts team, and with colleagues from other departments, you will be responsible for the operational management of an extensive programme of activity. The role requires developing and delivering projects from inception to completion and, as such, includes project management and development, fundraising, marketing, publicity and evaluation.

You will be enthusiastic and knowledgeable about socially engaged and contemporary arts practice and experienced in the planning and delivery of participatory arts projects.

The post holder is required to have a full clean driving licence and use of a car.
