The successful candidate will be accountable to the Communications Manager for the successful progress and implementation of the support of marketing and communications function across the directorate and cluster.
Specific duties will include:
Social media and communications support Growing our online audience across through the delivery of relevant digital communications strategies
Regularly updating website for both exams and project work, ensuring content is up-to-date and in line with global standards Support with developing monthly social media calendars with project and corporate information
Measuring and reporting social media reach and recognition
Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns for exams
Collaborate with the wider exams and customer service team to optimise user experience for our customers
Plan and implement all web, SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and display advertising campaigns Responsibility for exams pages on British Council South Africa website, ensuring all content is up-to-date and in line with global standards
Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals Events management support:
Assist with organising events and activities for business development
Logistical planning (booking accommodation, venues, travel, etc)
General support and financial assistance, including:\ Maintaining contacts databases
Drafting events-related communications
