Creative Economy Programme Specialist (Digital Innovation)

The British Council have an excellent opportunity for a Digital innovation specialist within their creative economy team

This role develops, manages and advises on projects, partnerships and activities which represent the Creative Economy team’s contribution to the British Council’s cultural relations agenda, overseeing and providing assistance as required to their implementation. In particular, profile the digital (and social) innovation and experimentation of the UK’s creative and cultural industries, in ways that are relevant to international needs and contribute to cultural exchange and social development.

This is an exciting role that will require a highly organised digital professional with a strong interest in an international career and a sound understanding of digital innovation trends in the UKs creative and cultural sectors

The successful candidate must have:

  • Experience in project management
  • A strong interesete in working in an international context
  • A great track record of developing credible partnerships for strategic benefit
  • The ability to write well in a number of styles
