Hull UK City of Culture 2017 is now planning for success beyond 2017 and wishes to appoint a Development Manager to lead on securing funding that will deliver the legacy arising from Hull UK City of Culture from 2018 and beyond
We’re looking for an experienced Development Manager or fundraiser with an excellent track record of obtaining funds from charitable trusts & foundations, high net worth individuals, private and public sector organisations, to manage a varied portfolio of supporters and to develop new funding prospects for the city and its cultural organisations.
Based in Hull and with travel to other cities across the UK, you will have experience of working with businesses, ideally gained within an arts and cultural context. You will be confident and entrepreneurial, able to instil a sense of credibility, and create and pitch the proposition for Hull’s future building on the success of Hull2017, with an understanding of successful partnerships.
This is a fantastic opportunity to develop and lead relationships with public sector, corporate and charitable funders and be at the forefront of helping to plan, co-ordinate and implement new fundraising and partnership activity for a city with big plans.
