We are seeking an inspirational person for the role of Director, to both manage the effective running of Rewrite’s successful projects and events, and to develop and implement a new strategic and creative vision as we celebrate our 15th year.

The successful candidate will manage and support our two flagship projects, Creative ESOL and Free Writers, our summer school and creative writing competition, as well as our Annual Celebration Event, and bespoke projects. He or she will have experience as a director or leader in a community arts organisation, or will be looking to take the next step from project management level. A passion for and commitment to empowering young people and challenging injustice through the arts is a must.

The Director will work closely with one other team member, an Administrator, and must be comfortable with taking initiative and working in a small team.
