Since 1979, the London Review of Books has stood up for the tradition of the literary and intellectual essay in English
The London Review has a vacancy for an intern starting in the summer.
Duties are multifarious and not glamorous; they include fetching and carrying, answering the phone, opening the post and fact-checking. Fact-checking is particularly important. The job is paid and lasts a year.
