Education Coordinator
Deadline: Sun 9 Aug 2015
The Complete Works is currently looking for an Education Co-ordinator to join our small, friendly office team

We are based on Brick Lane, London, separate from but in close proximity to our 4 Independent School Campuses. Our ethos is ‘reigniting interest in education through creativity’ – we provide alternative education for young people all over London on a one-to-one basis as well as operating as an Independent School who provide GCSE and group education.

Our Education Co-ordinators play a vital role in the operation of the whole company; acting as the main point of contact between parents, tutors, the office and the referrers. Your job, as Education Co-ordinator, will be to set-up tuition for our one-to-one students and monitor this in order to ensure the smooth running of our one-to-one provision. You will join our education department alongside fellow Education Coordinators and the Education Manager.

We are looking for someone who is creative, well-organised and has a genuine interest in education, any experience of working with young people (particularly those with Behavioural or SEN needs) is an advantage. This role does not involve working directly with young people, though you will interact with them from time to time and are expecting to have a good knowledge of their educational needs.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to further their career in the education sector or someone who is interested in working in alternative education. The position is full-time and permanent, office hours are 9:30 – 17:30 although some flexible hours may be required during exam season. You will be entitled to 25 days holiday outside of term-time and statutory sick pay. There will be a 3 month probation period before the successful candidate is made permanent in the position.

Salary: £17,000
Closing Date for Applications: 9th August 2015
Date of Interviews: W/C 21st August 2015
Start Date: W/C Monday 31st of August 2015
