Festival Administrator
Deadline: Mon 1 Aug 2016
Staging two festivals each year plus a number of events throughout the year, Cambridge Literary Festival showcases the best in contemporary writing and thinking from across the world

We attract hundreds of acclaimed novelists and poets, cultural thinkers, comedians, politicians and scientists to engage, provoke and entertain our audiences in some of Cambridge’s most beautiful colleges and historic buildings.

The Festival Administrator role is a new position due to a growth in our activities. We are looking for a highly organised individual with experience of working in a fast-paced and busy organisation to provide administrative support for our festivals and one-off events. The administrator will have experience of using a CRM database system. The administrator will report to the Festival Manager and will play a crucial role in the day to day running of the festival office and ensuring the smooth delivery of our festivals and events.

The post-holder will be tasked with a number of changing responsibilities and will work with flexibility, energy and commitment. It is preferable, but not essential, that they have a keen interest in the work of the festival, and in the arts and culture more broadly.
