Festival Assistant, Bradford Literature Festival

This role is offered on a 12-month basis as part of the Weston Jerwood Creative Bursaries programme.
Bradford Literature Festival is looking for an enthusiastic and outgoing Festival Assistant to join the team and aid with delivery of the 2018 event and the artistic output for 2019. This is a new role which has been devised to offer additional support to the festivals growing marketing and production teams between January 2018 and January 2019. It is offered on a 12-month basis as part of the Weston Jerwood Creative Bursaries programme. However, there may be the possibility of renewal for the right candidate.

The Festival Assistant will be involved in the planning and execution of the festivals digital marketing campaign, including the festival website, social media channels and CRM system as well as supporting the production team in research, planning and logistics. Post-festival, the Festival Assistant will play a key role in the evaluation process, measuring audience data, online analytics and customer feedback. The Festival Assistant will then aid in the planning and execution of the 2019 programme, working closely with the School’s Engagement Co-ordinator to begin the 2019 Schools and Young People’s Programme.
