Arvon, the UK’s leading creative writing charity, is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Finance Officer to join its National Office team
Based in London, our Finance Officer acts as a central point of contact for all day to day finance matters across Arvon and our three regional writing centres. The postholder will play an important part in monitoring and control of budgets, providing information to facilitate management decisions, supporting Arvon’s Trustee Finance Committee and helping to ensure financial best practice and procedures across the organisation, as well as take the lead in working with Arvon’s auditors on our annual audit.
The post would suit a qualified or qualifying management accountant, with experience of the charity sector, well organised and capable, and with excellent communication skills, who would enjoy working within a small, vibrant arts charity.
