First Novel Prize 2016
Deadline: Tue 31 May 2016
Judged by a leading literary agent, an adult fiction editor at a large international publisher and a literary consultant at one of the most recognised and established literary consultancies in the UK

Do you believe in your work? Show its potential by entering it into the First Novel Prize.

Judged by a leading literary agent, an adult fiction editor at a large international publisher and a literary consultant at one of the most recognised and established literary consultancies in the UK, the prize is an opportunity for writers to expose their work as well as win one of the three attractive prizes: £1000 for the First Winner, £250 for the Second Winner and £100 for the Third Winner.

As part of the prize, the First Winner will be invited to attend an exclusive meeting with the three judges in London on a mutually agreed date. This is however entirely optional.

If your manuscript is in English, unpublished or self-published, of any adult genre and over 50,000 words, you are welcome to enter it in our competition. Please note that children’s fiction, Young Adult and non-fiction will not qualify for entry.

The three winners will be contacted in July 2016 via telephone or email.

The organisers will not send notifications of the winners’ names to entrants, however these will be made public on our website and on social media channels.
