Fundraising and Sponsorship Manager

New Writing South is looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic person with strong fundraising and sponsorship skills to generate income and sponsorship to an agreed target
This post will be to work primarily on the company’s proposed word festival, Between The Lines (working title) comprising approximately twelve events across several venues, due to take place over three days in autumn 2016.
Between The Lines will be an inaugural event that NWS hopes to make a biennial event in the City of Brighton and Hove. The company is keen to attract sponsorship from local companies and hold fundraising events in addition to other fundraising.
You will have experience of working within the charity and/or arts sector. You will have excellent organisation, people and communication skills, and be capable of managing a range of initiatives. You must be self-motivated, able to work in a team and be flexible. Knowledge of the fundraising market in the southeast and local businesses would be advantageous.
Hours of work: This is a freelance contract and is for an initial 16 days, September–December 2015 with a view to extending the contract into 2016. Fee on application.
