Apothecary supplying sorcery services & unnatural products to magical beings. Yorkshire charity: writing & mentoring centre for children & young people

In Rotherham, something rather special has happened.  The Grimm family have opened an apothecary: an apothecary to ‘the magical’.  Of course if you’re a unicorn or other unearthly being/immortal you’ll already know about us and probably be a regular customer of one of our other branches or online.  But there’s something else that’s a little different about us to most high street shops in Yorkshire (NB: if you read on you are sworn to secrecy)… we are a story destination and we change lives one story at a time.  Our aim is to champion the writer in every child and there is a secret door, through a real life apothecary, where the real magic of words and wonder come to life in our imagination gym and story lounge.

The post on offer: You will be a strong communicator with good literacy skills.  You will need to be efficient with general ICT and data management along with a sound understanding of analysis and reporting to enable productive action planning. You will be a dynamic, communicative, organized individual and a skilled collaborator with experience of delivering and coordinating fundraising projects.  You will need excellent facilitation skills, project coordination skills and experience of the organisation of outstanding events. You will have a thorough knowledge and experience of social media and various medium for communicating.

it’s up to you but if you read and blab, consequences may occur and Grimm & Co take no responsibility for possible happenings, e.g. spontaneous yodeling.

This post has been made possible due to funding from the Catalyst Evolve Arts Council England fund.  Grimm & Co see this post as pivotal in ensuring we achieve our objectives to achieve our philanthropic giving strategy - it will involve overseeing events, handling data, keeping our amazing supporters up to date and informed + lots more.  We take fun seriously at Grimm & Co so working here is wonderful but it is hard work and meaningful too.
