Discover Children’s Story Centre is the UK’s first hands-on literature/literacy centre, based in Stratford, east London attracting over 90,000 visitors per year
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced person to play a key role in the strategic development of the organisation with lead responsibility for our innovative learning and education programmes.
Our plans for 2015-2018 include major exhibitions in the centre and on tour within the UK, a capital project and the further development of one of our most successful literacy programmes.
You will have a passion for children’s literature and literacy combined with excellent educational and project management experience.
Discover collaborates with writers, artists and schools to create fantastic learning experiences in one of the most vibrant and innovative areas of the UK. This is an exciting time to play a major role in the future development of an innovative arts and learning charity.
