The Open University are seeking to recruit a colleague to join our team of academics within the Department of English
Faculty of Arts£37,756 - £45,053; Ref: 10300
Based in Milton Keynes
Permanent full-time post available from 1 October 2014

You will join our team of academics within the Department of English and contribute towards the undergraduate and postgraduate teaching of Creative Writing; working in teams responsible for the production of new modules and for the presentation, assessment and quality assurance of existing modules. You will make a positive contribution to the research culture of the Department, and in particular to the work of the Contemporary Cultures of Writing Research Group. 

You will have a good honours degree in English or other relevant subject(s) and have a well-established reputation as a creative writer, with a specialism in at least one of the following genres: fiction, life writing, scriptwriting or poetry.The Faculty has a strong commitment to collective working in teaching and research. Closing date: noon on 24 July 2014. Interviews will be held on 8 August 2014.
