Lecturer in Creative Writing

The Department of English at the University of Chester invites applications for a lectureship tenable from 1st September 2015

The successful candidate will have a doctorate in an appropriate specialism, a developing record of publications of poetry and/or fiction, and recent and relevant teaching experience in higher education.

The successful candidate will be able to teach a range of core and specialist modules in Creative Writing at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. An ability to teach poetry and historical fiction would be advantageous.
