Lecturer in Creative Writing

York St John University are looking to appoint a specialist in Creative Writing to join their exciting creative writing programmes

You will be a published writer, and have experience of writing in professional contexts. You will be expected to teach across our undergraduate and master’s programmes including level 4. You will provide students with practical skills, inspiration and guidance. You will also contribute to our dynamic literary community, as well as helping organise our literature events series and annual anthology.

You will be joining a faculty which places a strong focus on interactive, digitally-innovative and research-informed teaching. You will be joining a team which hosts its own Research Series, collaborates annually with the York Literature Festival, and actively contributes to the university’s established and rapidly developing research culture.
