Lecturer in Creative Writing

Teesside University seeks an experienced lecturer to contribute to teaching, research or consultancy in Creative Writing in the Humanities Department, School of Social Sciences, Humanities and Law.

The successful candidate must hold a Higher Degree in a relevant Discipline / equivalent professional qualification or have significant practical work experience in a related discipline. You must also hold, or be willing to achieve (normally within two years of employment), a relevant Teaching Qualification i.e. PGCHE/Higher Education Academy (Associate Fellow/Senior Fellow) accreditation.
The ability to contribute to curriculum development and be able to evidence commitment to and demonstrable potential to undertake research, development and/or scholarship to enhance teaching is essential. It is essential that you have excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate highly complex information to a range of audiences.
