Neon Seeks Chapbook Proposals
Deadline: Sun 28 Feb 2016
Neon Books is looking for a new chapbook project to develop and publish in 2017. We want something odd, adventurous, and with a hint of the uncanny
Neon Books's current catalogue includes "The Naming Of Cancer" by Scottish Book Trust New Writers Award recipient Tracey S Rosenberg, "A Week With Beijing" by Ian MacMillan Fiction contest runner-up Meg Eden, and the winner of the 2015 Saboteur Award for Best Novella "The Mesmerist's Daughter" by Heidi James.
Now Neon Books is looking for a new chapbook project to develop and publish in 2017. We want something odd, adventurous, and with a hint of the uncanny. We’re looking for a project that is about something specific rather than for general poetry or fiction collections. We’d love to see something that manages to be both bizarre and relevant to the current state of the world. We’d like to see poetry, short stories, novellas, graphic short stories or any other form that you think might be appropriate.
Full details and a webform for sending in your proposed project can be found at www.neonbooks.org.uk/guidelines
