You will be an important and senior member of The Reader Organisation, working closely with the Head of Operations
Your specific responsibility will be to support and guide a team of Team Leaders to make sure that their key priorities of staff management, relationships with existing commissioners
- Lead and manage a group of Team Leaders/Project Managers across a variety of locations nationally
- Arrange and lead team meetings
- Responsible for managing performance of team leaders/project managers teams and staff and where appropriate utilising HR policies and procedures
- Liaise with host organisations and ensure best practice, including Service Level Agreements and Risk Assessments
- Ensure a high standard of delivery of Shared Reading by ensuring groups meet quality standards; that staff and volunteers are well trained and engage in continuous professional development and that regular monitoring and evaluation takes place
- Seek to raise the profile of the Reader Organisation in your area of responsibility
- Manage, resource, sustain and develop existing projects and commissions
- Ensure evaluation reports are submitted to funders on time and to a high standard
- Ensure delivery of services within budget
- Deputise for Head of Operations at meetings and events.
