PEN Promotes is accepting submissions for books published between July and December 2016
PEN Promotes, supported by Bloomberg, has supported the promotion of literature in translation since 2005. The aim of the award is to celebrate books of outstanding literary value, dedication to free speech and intercultural understanding, which have a clear link to the PEN Charter. The award is open to UK publishers.
The award
PEN Promotes will support author tours up to a maximum of £4,000. Funds will be allocated at the discretion of English PEN’s Writers in Translation Committee.
