Producer/Tour Booker
Deadline: Fri 24 Mar 2017
Louise Wallwein is looking for a Producer/Tour Booker for her acclaimed show GLUE

The artist would like to tour the show from late September 2017. The show will feature in the BBC/ Hull 17 Contains Strong Language Poetry Festival. This will coincide with a book launch. Glue has also been commissioned as BBC Radio 4 afternoon play.

GLUE tells the raw and moving story of Louise Wallwein and her first two meetings with her birth mother, three decades after being put up for adoption. Wallwein, a poet and playwright who grew up in care from the age of nine, invites you to share the private first reunion and also a second more public second meeting. Lyrical, vulnerable, fierce and funny, this acclaimed show challenges us to think about the nature of belonging and asks what family and home really are.

Glue was originally commissioned as a short monologue for the Family Arts Campaign

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years experience with a proven track record in producing first rate, exciting theatre in major U.K venues. With sound knowledge and extensive contacts and experience of writing successful touring bids. The artist would like to find a producer interested in developing a long term collaboration with the artist as there are currently many more exciting projects in the pipeline.
