Public Programming Administrator
Deadline: Wed 14 Oct 2015
The Attenborough Arts Centre is an expanding public arts venue close to the centre of Leicester that is managed by the University of Leicester

With over 50,000 visitors each year the centre is a lively and vibrant part of the culture of the city and region. It has a progressive programme of inclusive theatre, music, dance and spoken word and is part of the Arts Council of England’s National Portfolio Organisations and receives regular grant aid.

The centre is looking forward to opening a new extension in November 2015 that will house one of the largest galleries dedicated to exhibiting contemporary art in the region.  In anticipation of this exciting event we are pleased to announce a new part-time career opportunity in arts administration.

ThePublic Programming Administrator will play an important role in the Attenborough Arts Centre in supporting the expanding arts programme by working closely with the Visual Art Officer and the Programing Officer delivering exhibitions and events.

The post holder will be involved in the administration of the event programme which includes theatre, dance, spoken word and live art as well as the contemporary art programme and associated events. Ideally this part time opportunity would be spread equally over the week.
