The Creative Writing department is seeking to recruit a dynamic teacher and high quality researcher at Senior Lecturer level to join our successful and innovative programme. We are looking for applicants with expertise in the area of Creative Writing preferably with experience that also includes either non-fiction or writing for performance.  

You will contribute to teaching on a range of modules that combine theory and practice. You will also be a researcher whose Creative Writing work can contribute to the subject area’s research profile for REF purposes.   

You should have a good Honours degree and extensive practical experience within the publishing and creative industries. An active commitment to research is essential, as is experience of teaching, administration and management in higher education.
